Overview

ABOUT

Agras Hotel is a boutique hotel tucked in the quieter coastal part of the Old City Istanbul, neighboring the Topkapı Palace walls and is just a 5-minute walk away from Hagia Sofia.

This 19th century wooden Ottoman architecture who once housed Topkapı Palace staff has been one of the few iconic buildings surviving throughout two centuries. We have rebuilt these two mansions in 2021, preserving their original attributes.

Agras Hotel offers its guests thoughtfully decorated rooms, exclusive service and an “Authentic Istanbul Experience” linking the trends and the tradition.

ROOMS

We provide 13 modern rooms some with views of the Marmara Sea, premium bedding and safety standards, luxurious amenities, complimentary Turkish breakfast and curated experiences.

SERVICES

Our hotel offers 24-hour guest reception, free Wi-Fi, daily housekeeping, transfer assistance, concierge, complimentary luggage storage, laundry services, clothing iron and board. Agras in room amenities include smart TV, digital safe box, mini fridge, hair dryer, organic toiletries, kettle and complimentary tea and coffee supplies.

BREAKFAST

You can enjoy our optional breakfast everyday between 07:30 and 10:30. We offer our guests a traditional Turkish breakfast with selected Turkish cheese, cured meat, Turkish pastries, black and green olives, eggs of your choice, homemade jams, honey, butter, tomatoes, cucumbers, dried fruits, a basket of bread and traditional Turkish bagel called “simit” served with Turkish tea and filtered coffee.

Rules and Policies

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Agras Hotel. In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, the Hotel Management requests your co-operation regarding the following rules and policies.

HOTEL TARIFF AND PAYMENT

The hotel tariff includes lodging and breakfast is available with an additional charge. Rollaway beds can be placed in superior rooms upon demand at extra cost. Each room has an assigned maximum occupancy. Additional guests, above maximum occupancy, will be checked into another room at that day’s rate. Agras Hotel accepts Visa, Master, Union Pay, Amex credit cards and cash for payment.

CHILDREN

Guests under the age of 18 years must have their parents’ consent to stay in the Hotel. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times and shall not be left unattended on the hotel property at any time during their stay. One child of 0-6 years per family can stay in the Hotel free of charge.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check-in time is after 14:00 and check-out time is until 12:00 at noon.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is complimentary and is served everyday between 07:30 and 10:30.

HOUSEKEEPING

Daily housekeeping is available at the Hotel. Rooms are checked and cleaned every day, sheets are changed once in every two days and towels are changed daily or less depending on your preference. Please keep in mind that you can help us save water and energy by using your towels more than once.

STORAGE AND SAFETY

Guests are kindly requested to deposit all their valuables in the in-room digital safe. The Hotel will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the guests’ belongings that are not kept in the safe. Guests can store their luggage in the hotel’s luggage area for a period of maximum one day.

PET POLICY

We love pets and consider them a part of our families. However, due to our Hotel’s capacity and other guests’ convenience, pets are not permitted in the Hotel.

SMOKING POLICY

We operate a 100% non-smoking hotel. This includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vaping and any other form of smoking.

WEAPONS AND INFLAMMABLE OBJECTS

For everyone’s safety, all sorts of weapons, explosives, inflammable objects, candles and dangerous chemicals are strictly prohibited in the Hotel. Cooking is also not permitted within the rooms.

VISITORS

Agras Hotel property is for the enjoyment of registered hotel guests only. Non-registered guests will be permitted only in the common areas of the Hotel upon approval of the front desk.

DAMAGE

Guests will be held responsible and charged for any loss or damage to the Hotel property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible.

PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING POLICY

Your personal data is processed and shared with authorised 3rd parties in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and the relevant legislation, to fulfill our legal obligations, to provide you with services within the scope of hotel management, to ensure your security with camera recordings, to protect your health, to better understand your suggestions and for evaluation purposes. Guests who fail to abide by our policies may be asked to leave the Hotel and may be subject to further legal action.

Emergency Plan

Agras Hotel has smoke detectors in all of the rooms and fire alarm stations in the corridors.

In case of fire, earthquake or any other emergency that require you to evacuate the building, please follow the exit signs in the corridors. For any other issues you may experience, please contact the reception.

In-room Manuals

WI-FI

In order to access Agras Hotel Wi-Fi, please activate your device’s Wi-Fi and select Agras_Guest network. Once you join the network, you will be automatically directed to https://hotspot.moowifi.com.tr/. Please enter your passport number and click “connect” to complete the process. We’re always ready to help in case you experience any issues.

HOTEL PHONE SYSTEM

Please dial 0 to call the reception. If you wish to make outside calls, please contact the reception for support.

SMART TV

All rooms are equipped with a smart TV with unlimited Wi-Fi access for you to enjoy global and local TV channels as well as popular entertainment services. Please keep in mind that you need to use your personal accounts to access paid entertainment services like Netflix, and don’t forget to log-out before you leave the Hotel.

MINI FRIDGE

Please note that the mini fridge in your room is empty. You’re welcome to chill your own items if you wish.

DIGITAL SAFE

Programming and Closing:

1. Put your belongings inside the safe and close the door.
2. Enter your code of 4 (four) digits.
3. Press the “#” button.
4. Check that the safe is closed.

Opening:

1. Enter your code of 4 (four) digits.
2. Your safe is opened.

When leaving the hotel, please keep the safe opened and check that you have taken all your belongings.

Housekeeping

Your comfort is our priority at Agras Hotel. Rooms are checked and cleaned every day, sheets are changed once in every two days and towels are changed daily or less depending on your preference.

Please keep in mind that you can help us save water and energy by using your towels more than once, just like at home. A towel on the rack means “I will use again”, and a towel on the floor means “Please replace”.

We provide our guests clothing iron and board upon request at no extra cost. Laundry services are available with a standard price list. Please contact the reception for more information.
